Oregon grape root is derived from the oregon grape plant which is also known as mahonia aquifonium. It is an amazing Native America Herb. Like Golden Seal Oregon grape contains a bitter alkaloid known as berberine & hydrastine which is an anti-inflammatory and anti bacterial used for the treatment of infection.
